Come down to the X-ray lab at SCL 123 and meet Brandon Mercado, our new Small Molecule Crystallographer. Brandon did his graduate work at UC Davis under the guidance of Marilyn Olmstead and Alan Balch. He recently finished his postdoctoral work at UC Irvine. Since his arrival the Rigaku SCXmini has been repaired, and all three instruments in the X-ray lab are now working.
